National Energy Group's Nansu Power Plant in Indonesia Wins Two Power Asia Awards

       Recently, Guohua Power's Nansou Power Plant in Indonesia has won two awards in the Asian Power Industry Awards, namely "Environmental Improvement of the Year (Indonesia)" and "Independent Power Producer of the Year (Indonesia)", presenting a beautiful business card of NEC's overseas power construction to the power generation, transmission and distribution industry in the Asia-Pacific region with its strength.

　　Asian Power Power Industry Awards is known as the "Oscars" of the power industry in Asia, and the judges of the awards are experts, executives and consultants from the power industry in Asian countries. The goal of the awards is to select the projects that represent the highest level of power industry development in Asia by considering their performance and contribution to the power industry.

　　More than 170 projects from major countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Thailand, participated in the awards. Nansu Power Plant started its preparation in August and declared its development history in Indonesia, reliability and economic and environmental achievements in recent years, management model improvement, development capability, fulfillment of social responsibility, and honorable awards achieved over the years from NERC Guohua Power. The plant received unanimous praise from the jury and harvested two highly valuable awards.

　　Since its commissioning, Nansou Power Plant has achieved excellent operational performance, stable safety and production situation, outstanding environmental achievements, set a number of new records for power construction in Indonesia, eased the tight supply situation, and made outstanding contributions to the development of Indonesia's power industry. Especially since this year, in the face of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the plant has resolutely implemented the deployment requirements of the group company, taken the initiative, dared to take responsibility, and promoted the prevention and control of the epidemic and the resumption of production with "one prevention and three protection" as the main line, which has effectively guaranteed the power supply and people's life in the area. In addition, the plant has always focused on the cultural integration between China and Indonesia, actively carried out public welfare undertakings, provided more than 2,000 jobs for the local community, invested millions of yuan in public welfare undertakings, improved the living standards of the surrounding people, and promoted the development of the local economy, which has won high praise from all walks of life in Indonesia.
